I'm currently reading
this book, borrowed from the library. It's a history of housewives in New Zealand. I'm finding it very interesting, and amusing! A lot of the material is taken from the magazines and journals of the time (kind of like what our blogs are like these days I suppose). This is an entertaining, informative and well written book and I'm thoroughly enjoying it. It is also a very beautiful book. I'll leave you with a few images.

Just tried to reply to your comment on my blog but can't AGAIN! GRRR.Was going to say that I have the Creative Family and have borrowed Handmade Home from the library. I'm sure her latest one will be interesting too. I just saw you have also done a book post today. I've seen that book in the bookshops and wondered if it was good. Will have to look it out at the library now.
I can't wait to get this book from the library. I'm number 105 or something on the waiting list so it might take a while!
