more knitting

Gah.  These little vests just seem to be falling off the needles these days, without much help from me.  Again and again, I'm asking myself how many vests one girl needs.  One of the things I've started in the last year is a 'gift cupboard'.  When I see things at the shops on special or I make more than I need (likes these vests) I squirrel things away in the 'gift cupboard' for birthdays, Christmas, new babies etc...
I have a feeling there will be quite a few vests in there soon (there are already two!)

a girl can never have enough vests plus it is cheaper then buying her new clothes, little kids clothes can be super expensive!

Vests are good. I've been knitting a whole bunch of the pebble vests for various baby gifts and such. I might make another for George too... Actually I think I will try the milo, it looks rad.

Fab vest! You're a super knitter :) I'm just attempting to learn...getting there slowly, I managed to knit a nappy cover for the new baby the other day which was pretty exciting!

You could always combine the vest love & the gift cupboard ;)

Dude, I'm soooo impressed! And I love that little miss is reading our favourite book! An equally tattered (loved) version no less!

Lovely, and what a great idea... thats something I should start doing, so often I find myself in a muddle of what to gift... and with the lack of shops nearby this is the perfect solution...
Love georgies pattern.. yet to try the milo yet :)

vests are great, they don't have sleeves to get dirty so they often last a lot longer i reckon! plus sometimes a full knitted jumper is just toooo hot.

love!

Love the colour combo. The milo pattern is such a great pattern. I'm just about to start a gift cupboard too since I always seem to end up in a flap with birthday's and the arrivals of newbies.
