Today I spent time in my sewing room. In daylight hours. Alone. For about two hours. It was looooovely.
I worked on a new project. A late mother's day gift for my mum. It's going to be a new knitting bag for her.
My first attempt at string piecing. I may have found a new craft addiction...

You are so neat at cutting and sewing! wish I had that skill and patience. It looks lovely. can't wait to see the bag.
I've been meaning to have a go at a string quilt for so long. something small sounds like the perfect way to test the waters. can't wait to see the end result! x
