sanctuary

I am a frequent visitor to this space.  I stand and stare out the window while waiting for the jug to boil at least 6 or 7 times a day.  I love this little corner and its collections of treasures.  To me, it is perfect.

That is a nice corner. I was thinking today how so many things, such as vintage teapots and enamel bowls, are just like paintings, so nice to look at, and so worthy of display.

What a beautiful wee space! Your treasures are magical, and I think I love them especially since I'm a fellow tea lover :) Gorgeous!

I have just fallen on your blog by accident - I love your little corner - and noticed that you put your pepper mill in a dish too - it drives me mad trying to keep the shelf - and every other surface - clean every time I put it down!

Loving this space. Never thought to make the kettle/tea/coffee space somewhere special for contemplation, but I'm loving the idea... hm, need to think on it.. need to clear out the breadbin and breadmaker from my area.. or relocate kettle? hm, lots of hmmms!! ;D

I love this idea so much I am writing a post on the subject and am going to try doing a little Mr Linky to get others to join in (maybe!!)... would you mind if I linked to your post and posted one of your pictures as inspiration in a mosaic?

Cheers, Emma x
